Is Alphabet C or a stock?
Alphabet, Google's parent company, has two listed share classes that use slightly different ticker symbols. GOOGL shares are its Class A shares, also known as common stock, which have the typical one-share, one-vote structure. GOOG shares are Class C shares that confer no voting rights.

Summary of GOOG vs GOOGL
Class A (GOOGL): Your ticket to Alphabet's public arena with voting rights. Class B: The elusive non-traded shares with 10x voting power, exclusive to founders and insiders. Class C (GOOG): Your public pass to Alphabet without voting rights – also the equity compensation for Alphabet employees.
Investors generally should consider Class A shares (the initial sales charge alternative) if they expect to hold the investment over the long term. Class C shares (the level sales charge alternative) should generally be considered for shorter-term holding periods.
The only difference is that GOOGL stock provides voting power, which gives you a vote in shareholder meetings. But if you own GOOG stock, then you have no vote at all. However, both share classes technically make you entitled to an equal amount of the company's earnings.

While Google is widely known for its success, investors should exercise caution when purchasing its stock. It's important to note that Google doesn't pay shareholders dividends to its investors.
Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, along with CEO Eric Schmidt, held enough shares to retain control. In 2014, the company reorganized into Alphabet with three stock classes: A, B and C. A and C are similar except A has voting rights and C has none. Financially, they're the same and they run about the same price.
Why buy a Class C?
The main difference between a Class C and a Class A is size—Class C RVs are typically shorter in both length and height compared to Class A RVs. Due to their smaller size, Class C motorhomes can fit into more parks and campsites, get better gas mileage, and are easier to maneuver.
Class B shares are lower in payment priority than Class A shares. That means if a company were to go bankrupt and be forced into liquidation, Class A shareholders would be paid out first, then Class B. Class B shares can also be issued for reasons that aren't only to benefit the company and executives.
In this system, Class A shares are still premium shares with more voting rights, at least compared to Class C shares. However, Class B shares have the power that was traditionally associated with Class A shares. Investors should not assume that buying Class A shares makes them insiders or maximizes their voting power.

Why has Alphabet never paid a dividend? Alphabet, which went public as Google in 2004, has never paid a dividend. Like many other growing tech companies, Google allocated most of its cash to R&D investments and acquisitions instead of shareholder-friendly buybacks or dividends.
Nvidia is leading the charge in high-performance semiconductors and data center services.
